Driven by Data – Analytics Demographics Sports Officials is the focus of the 35th annual Sports Officiating Summit presented by the National Association of Sports Officials (NASO). The Summit is held at different locations each year, and always near the end of July. The 2017 Sports Officiating Summit will be July 30-August 1, 2017 in Louisville, KY.
Leaders of state high school officiating programs, local association officers, supervisors and coordinators, assigners, conference administrators and sports
officials at all levels – from around the country and the world — attend the Sports Officiating Summit. Each year, more than 400 sports attendees and vendors make it the industry even of the year.
Along with educational and inspirational presentations, the Summit is also a venue to celebrate events and individuals that have made a difference in our industry and the world around us. Sports Officiating’s most prestigious awards are presented at the Celebrate Officiating Gala — The Gold Whistle Award and the Mel Narol Medallion Award.
